Jeets was in the Mpumalanga Provincial Government from
April 1995 to December
1999. He was Head of the Office of the Premier and played a major role in
Intergovernmental
Relations, Transformation and Capacity Building. In 2000 he
established Strategic Alternatives – Management Consultants CC. Prior to that
Jeets was employed in a variety of positions from 1981. that

Project Management, Change Management, Monitoring and Evaluation,
Capacity Development.
Jeets has led many institutional and organisation development initiatives. He
was lead facilitator on the Operation Phakisa Mining Lab and work stream
facilitator in the Agriculture lab. Jeets has served on the Audit Committees of
the Mpumalanga Provincial Legislature and the National Gambling Board.
He is the, based in Pretoria, South Africa and has worked in Africa, the Middle
East and presented at international forums in India, Thailand and Indonesia.

Sipho was the CEO of a leading NGO at the beginning of the millennium and grew
the organisation three fold in four years. This earned him a role as an Advisor
to the Regional Director of IPPF in Africa. He took an interest in consulting
after providing technical advice to a few of his counterparts in the continent.
A few years later he joined DAI trading as ECIAfrica Consulting in South Africa
and was responsible for multiple projects in five countries focusing on
agriculture, education, health, infrastructure, land reform, mining, tourism and
transport.
Areas of expertise: Policy and Strategy, Planning and Budgeting, Institutional
Strengthening and Change Management, Programme and Project Design and
Management, SMME Development, Monitoring and Evaluation, Stakeholder Management.
Sipho has overseen and managed programmes on behalf of National Treasury,
International development agencies; Government institutions and private sector.
He is the Managing Director of Camitrim, a small black-owned consultancy.

Pieter was a Project Leader with the Deloitte Africa Agribusiness Unit (DAAU);
as well as Co-owner and Managing Director of an extensive pineapple, cattle and
game farm. Pieter also had interests in an eco-tourism venture.
Areas of expertise: Financial and Agricultural Risk Management, Company and
Asset Valuations, Strategy Development, Production Planning and Feasibility
Studies in Agriculture across Africa.
Pieter was the project leader on many strategic interventions in Africa for
amongst others, Land O’Lakes, Bayer, Syngenta and Barclays Africa.
Pieter is also a Specialist Advisor in the animal and sub-tropical fruit sectors
and has performed various market potential analysis and feasibility studies for
a wide range of commodities and products in Africa.
He is the Lead Director of Afrilogic, a boutique agri-business consultancy,
based in Pretoria, South Africa. |

Mauritz has extensive experience as a financial executive in large
organisations. He has been involved in agricultural businesses as an
agricultural economist and financial manager for more than 20 years.
Areas of expertise: Expense Management, Strategic Financial Planning, Budgeting
and Forecasting, Business and Control Performance Management and Analysis,
Risk Management in Grain Trading and Handling.
He has established business entities in Angola, Brazil and Mozambique and has
extensive experience in the dairy, fertiliser and grain trading and handling
industries.
Mauritz has held amongst others the following positions: Financial Director –
Sturruck and Robson Group; Assistant GM: Finance and Administration – Grainlink
(Senwes Group); Financial Manager – Omnia International Operations; Agricultural
Economist – Clover SA.
He is currently a director at Afrilogic, a boutique agri-business consulancy,
based in Pretoria, South Africa.
